Blinken in Ukraine reaffirms US help amid Russia tensions

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken found with top Ukrainian officials in Kyiv Thursday and reaffirmed Washington’s support for the united states into the wake of increased tensions with Russia, fueled by its current troop accumulation near the boundaries with Ukraine.

The most truly effective US diplomat came across with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and reiterated the U.S.’s dedication to Ukraine’s “sovereignty, territorial stability and independence,” while also underscoring the significance of Ukraine’s attempts to tackle extensive corruption and execute reforms.

“Ukraine is dealing with two difficulties: violence from exterior, coming from Russia, plus in effect aggression from within, originating from corruption, oligarchs yet others who will be placing their passions in front of those for the Ukrainian men and women,” Blinken informed a development conference after their ending up in Zelenskyy.
